Non-Art Donations

Be a Part of the Most Talked About Spring Event in Midtown!

The annual Art for Art’s Sake Auction is a celebration of the local art and small business community and showcases a wide range of paintings, jewelry, gift certificates, fiber arts, gift baskets and more, all of which are donated in support of the ongoing beautification and community enhancement projects. In past years, proceeds from the have allowed us to take the Trestle art piece solar, create custom ginkgo shaped bike racks for business patrons and residents to utilize, purchase trash cans to cut down on litter and ensured the LampLighter would be freely available to all.  Local supporting local is what creates a community to brag about!

Any donations that you and your business could provide to make this year’s Art for Art’s Sake Auction a continued success would be much appreciated. We are accepting any items including, but not limited to, items/services your business provides, gift certificates, gift baskets, etc.  Consider sharing your knowledge through a short one-on-one class on your skill, such as cooking or art, or creating an afternoon to remember with a pampering package at your spa and forging a relationship with a patron that would last a lifetime. Think creative!

By donating to the auction, you will receive:

  • Recognition for your donation in the event program
  • Acknowledgement in our community newspaper, The LampLighter
  • Promotion on our web site, Facebook, Twitter and social media outlets
  • Two (2) complimentary tickets, which includes bidding rights, food and beverages for donations valued at over $50
  • And of course, a donation receipt recognizing your gift to our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

With your help, we can continue the grassroots efforts to support public art and keep this vibrant urban community a great place to live, work, worship and play.  To see more about these and other community projects, visit our web sites at or We look forward to hearing from you to confirm your participation so that we may plan accordingly.  Please contact CYCA Community Director, Kristan Huntley at your earliest convenience at 901-272-2922 or
